Postville Immigration Raid: 10th Anniversary

May 11, 2018

Summons to Change of Heart, Change in #Immigration Laws

Gather at St. Bridget Church, Postville, Iowa, for Interfaith Prayer Service. Then walk to Meyer Park near site of raid for noon rally.

– To remember the 389 workers who were arrested on May 12, 2008 at Agriprocessors, Inc. in Postville, Iowa.
– To recognize this as a Summons – a defining moment to challenge current anti-immigrant rhetoric and behaviors
– To unite in demanding just, humane and comprehensive immigration reform.

A Spanish Mass also will be held at St. Bridget Church on Saturday, May 12 at 7 PM.

We invite individuals and groups across the country and the world to stand in solidarity with those gathering in Postville by joining in prayer and action.
