Ways to Give

Support the Sisters of the Presentation and help ensure that Presentation mission and ministries will continue.

Outright Gifts

A cash gift is often the simplest form of support. The gift can be made by sending a check or money order directly to the Development Office. Cash gifts are deductible in the year in which they are made. All gifts are gratefully acknowledged.

Memorials and Honorary Gifts:

These gifts provide an opportunity to remember or honor someone. They are a meaningful way to keep your loved ones memory alive or celebrate a special person or occasion.

Designate your gift to support a specific ministry of the Sisters of the Presentation. The Development Office will send a note about your gift to the honoree or the honoree's family. Gift amounts will be held in confidence.

Has a Presentation sister significantly impacted your life or the life of a loved one? If so, you may desire to make a substantial contribution to the congregation. Please call (563) 588-2008 for more information about making a major gift.

Matching Gifts:

Employers often match charitable gifts. Contact your employer's human resource department to see if your company matches gifts. If it does, obtain a matching gift form and mail it to our Development Office with your gift. We will complete the form and return it to your company.

Gifts of Stocks, Bonds and Tangible Assets:

Friends can contribute securities or property directly to the Sisters of the Presentation and receive a deduction based on the current market value on the date of the gift. Doing so offers a twofold tax savings of not paying any capital gains tax on the increase in value of the stock and receiving an income tax charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the stock at the time of the gift.
