Cultural Immersion: Okolona, Mississippi
EXCEL is a non-profit organization located in Okolona, which is still a very segregated community with high poverty and illiteracy rates.
The participants will have the opportunity to help with renovation projects, to learn about the reality in this community, to help in the tutoring program and organization of the thrift shop.
