This greeting translated from the Celtic "a hundred thousand welcomes!" graces the entrance of our home, Mount Loretto, whose name is historically linked to the house of Loreto, the birthplace of Mary, and the presumed site of the Annunciation.
The touchstone of our community and center of co-missioning, Mount Loretto embodies lived hospitality. As home to more than 100 Presentation sisters, it is also a hub for spiritual and civic activity, ranging from liturgies and celebrations to educational meetings and professional conferences.
It is the place from which we, sisters and Presentation associates, go forth and serve, as well as a place to which people are welcomed and received.
