Presentation Lantern Center
Since Presentation Lantern Center's opening on November 13, 2002, the center's staff and volunteers have listened to the stories of hundreds of new immigrants from across the globe.
Presentation Lantern Center functions as a hub of connection for its drop-in visitors. This center offers hospitality, educational opportunities and advocacy for women and children.
As visitors and tutors work together, they discover common values. Volunteers help people learn English and adjust to living in a new place.

Dora, once a visitor to the Center, now volunteers helping others learn Spanish while she continues to brush up on her English. "Another woman told me about the center in February 2003 and I began my study of English. For me the Lantern Center is more than English study; it is also self-esteem and friendship."
