THE CALL  |  THE DESIRE  |  THE HISTORY  |  APPLICATION

Each person participates in an orientation process which consists of mutual sharing and reflection on the topics of heritage, charism, mission, prayer and community. This orientation process usually lasts 9-12 months.

After a time of discernment, each person responds to the movement of the spirit in his or her heart. Some choose to formalize this association with the Presentation community by making a commitment.

The one-year initial commitment challenges each associate to:

• Live out the Presentation spirit of presence, hospitality, compassion for those
  in need especially the poor, respect for all people, in one’s own individual life style.
  
  
• Share his or her unique giftedness by participating in the Presentation mission.
  
  
• Strengthen gospel values and deepen prayer life by sharing faith and prayer.
  
  
  After the first year, each associate is asked to renew their commitment for a term of one to five years.
